DigR is a generic architectural root-system model, including growth and development.
It is a pure structural model, which describes whole root-systems architecture at simple organ's level (root). Its simulation software architecture makes it ready to host functional knowledge that may influence the default growth process.
It is hosted in the Xplo environment where you have a nice user interface to input parameter values and natively check the simulation output. It is also a standalone in the Vitis environment to run heavy computing or to combine it with the AmapSim shoot part into the RoCoCau model.
